An Idaho State Senator
wants to make high school students read
Atlas Shrugged:
Idaho state Sen. John Goedde (R), chairman of the Education Committee,
introduced legislation to require every Idaho high school student to
read Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and pass a test on it to graduate from high school, the Spokane Spokesman-Review reports.
Said Goedde: "That book made my son a Republican."
WORST. BOOK. EVER. Some Republicans want the Bible in school. Some want
Ayn Rand. Some want both. What the fuck? The two don't go together.
