The swimming pool of the abandoned Grossinger's Catskill Resort Hotel in
Liberty. The hotel, part of the so-called 'Borscht Belt', once welcomed
150,000 visitors annually but it was abandoned in 1986. The Catskill
Mountains are littered with run-down buildings built when the area was a

It is amazing how many of the photos are of places which were recently abandoned. Ohio's is an abandoned shopping mall in Akron, which was built in 1975. Just another reminder of how wasteful American society is.
