I Don't Get It

Why are people so stressed out about Obamacare?  Because people who couldn't afford it may be able to buy insurance?  It just seems so wrong for people to bemoan the end of America as we know it.  You mean the America where every time I turn around somebody is having a benefit for a person with cancer or some other illness they can't afford?  Or the America where thousands of people file for bankruptcy because of medical bills, even if they have insurance?  Oh wait, we'll still have that, because insurance companies are still involved.  Do people realize that we might be better off if employers didn't have to provide health insurance?  You know, people might actually get raises.  I have a hard time going on facebook and reading all the posts from people I know crying the blues about derelicts getting an opportunity to buy health insurance.  Or even worse, people complaining about how their freedom to free ride on others is being violated.

Just a reminder, morons, Mitt Romney did the exact same thing in Massachusetts.  Go vote for him, dumbfucks.  He's a giant lying sack of shit who feels no compunction to decency.  He wants the brass ring, and nothing will stop him, especially the truth.

Update:  Don't forget, most of the people opposed to this claim to be pro-life.

  1. What a liberal cesspool of ignorance. You are clearly out of touch with reality or just a plain fool. No one should complain about Obamacare? Seriously? The largest entitlement program and tax increase in our history and we should just roll over and like it? Are you kidding me? In the middle of a global economic crisis to add insult to injury. WTF? Typical liberal arrogance believing that the government should make all decisions. Forget about personal liberties and decision making. Welcome to the generation of liberal progressives working to create further dependence on the government. It is all about control. No one bites the hand that feeds them.

Let’s call Obamacare what it is. Pure and simple redistribution of wealth. So now those of us who have to work for a living just give up some more so others who want to live on entitlements can have more. Just put a saddle on my back so they can enjoy the ride. You are either suckling off the government or sitting on a stack of cash you didn’t earn so you don’t mind giving it away. I can’t imagine a working man thinking that Obamacare is a good idea. Please take more of my hard earned money and give it to some jackass who wants to sit on their ass all day. That is a fantastic idea.

Lastly, liberals (aka communists) and conservatives would both love to see everyone with good healthcare at a reasonable cost. It’s good politics at a minimum. The question is what do you want? Shitty care that is rationed or the worlds best care that is expensive. I will take the latter as Europe has shown us that socialist medical care is just as expensive and eventually it contributes to bankrupting the entire country.

I apparently must live in a country of idiots who don’t watch the real news (not msnbc), read the paper or travel abroad. Every day I hear socialist Europe is in dire straits. Why would we move our country down that same road? Why would we not learn from those mistakes? I can only assume it is liberal arrogance.

  2. You know what is in dire straits? The American middle class. Why? Because people like you buy into the government doesn't do anything right bullshit pushed by the same people who are distributing productivity upwards.

I personally think Obamacare is the worst way we could try to improve the health care market, but the reason it is so bad is that it was the Republican idea for fixing health care. That happens to be why Mitt Romney used it in Massachusetts. That was Obama's foolish effort at bipartisanship. I'm not sure where you get the notion that a large number of people in this country get the world's best care. Most of us working stiffs get shitty care that is rationed. Rationed by insurance companies.

I'm not sure how you made your way in life all on your own, but I didn't. I am a product of a public school system supported by taxpayers. I had the opportunity to go to college at a public university on a publicly-funded scholarship. I didn't partake of that opportunity, but it was there. Anyway, I realize that I have had a lot of luck in life compared to many other people, and I try to remember that. Maybe that proves my ignorance, or that I'm out of touch with reality, or just a plain fool. Or maybe not. Just remember, as long as the Republican party is in charge of things, things will continue to deteriorate for all but the richest folks in this country.
