My county got pummeled with rain tonight. I got 1.9" while dad got 3.5" about three-and-a-half miles away. In town they are reporting five inches with a lot of flooding. The interstate is a parking lot in front of my house. Thank God I'm not stuck in that traffic jam.

We need rain over here. Not desperately-yet, but the tiles have quit running already. How about sharing? The beans are pretty much in. I saw a guy cutting hay yesterday.

We could have spared some of that rain. It cut some pretty ugly washes in the fields. It'll be a few days before we can get back to planting the beans.
