Health Care Costs

The claim that doctors are overpaid is going to ruffle some feathers.  I would think that if large numbers of scholarships were available to doctors, we might be able to lower their annual pay once they are out of school, but paying off debts makes it much more expensive than necessary.  Unfortunately, the AMA has a century-long track record of keeping doctors from facing billing limits.

  1. As a healthcare professional and member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), I find the accusation of runaway administrative costs to be specious and slanderous.

Don't I pay taxes? I buy cars, purchase realestate, and I spend my money in the economy. The bloated cost of my healthcare administration helps keep this struggling economy going.

How can you be so unpatriotic as to suggest waste is not good for the country.

  2. You make some interesting points. I believe that you could better stimulate the economy by handing your paychecks to me.
