I drove up from Columbus to see/hear this live when it happened. Threw on a suit. Drove the hour and a half to Gambier. Sat outside in a folding chair next to some family members of one of the grads on a beautiful day. As soon as DFW was done talking, got back in the car and drove home. Made a very good decision to make the effort that day.
It's always good to hear from the Professor. It isn't too often one gets the opportunity to be a part of history (that doesn't involve ND football), but I'd say your trip qualifies. That is a bit of information I didn't know about you.
