  1. In the top ten tax countries they get a large amount of government services. My Dad complained about living in Wisconsin because the state tax was so high. My brother in Wisconsin claimed he didn't mind the higher taxes because of the services provided by the state (although he could have been argueing for argument's sake.) I wouldn't mind paying more through payroll taxes if my $300 dollar a month insurance plan (still a cheap plan) would dissappear.

  2. We do get a pretty large and effective (at blowing shit up) military for our investment. Who else on that list can say the same thing?
