The NCAA hockey tournament
bracket is out, and Boston College, North Dakota, Union and Michigan got the number 1 seeds.
My picks:
Northeast: BC and Minnesota-Duluth, with BC advancing.
West: Minnesota and
Western Michigan, with
Western Michigan advancing.
East:
Michigan State and
Miami, with
Miami advancing.
Midwest:
Denver and
Michigan, with
Denver advancing.
Frozen Four: BC and
Miami, with BC winning the title.
I wouldn't be betting against North Dakota—they are on a tear right now.
ReplyDeleteI'm just always amazed at the upsets when a hockey tournament is one and done. Plus, I didn't want to pick all number one seeds.
ReplyDeleteI'm just guessing too. Besides, I have only seen UND, UM Duluth, DU, and the Gophers this year. In their last game, UM had UND down 3-0 and wound up losing 6-3. So then they crushed DU which is a pretty good team. UND takes their hockey VERY seriously (cheerleaders crying when they lose) at tournament time. It's the only Div 1 sport they have—oh and then there's their $150 million rink!
